Our 1991 professional purpose-built 24-track recording studio is located in Schlossrued, an idyllic village near Aarau. It is built almost completly into the southern hillside of the village. Out of the windows there is a beautiful view over the valley and the surrounding woods. On top of the studio you are out in the countryside with a lawn, a place for barbeques and a small pond to help you relax. The basic building and the acoustic design is the work from Hellmuth Kolbe's Engineering Office for Acoustics and Constructional Physics. Internally all the floors, walls and ceilings are floating to prevent structure born vibrations between the rooms.

Great attention has been given to a natural acoustic as well as plenty of room in the mixing and recording area. Our recording room with a stone covered drum corner and a separate room for guitar and/or bass provides a very live acoustic which is appreciated by many musicians. By means of curtains, mirrors and special walls we have the possibility to change the acoustic of the room.

Atmosphere Recording Studio is situated in the heart of switzerland, only about half an hour from Basel, Bern, Luzern or Zürich. It's easy to reach from all directions. For customers with a small budget and lower demands we provide accommodation (up to 5 people) for free. For higher demands we can make different arrangements in hotels in the region.
